When the lights go out and the last work truck pulls back into the parking lot, the shop doesnāt go quiet⦠it shifts into patrol mode.

Enter Darth Bane, our unofficial night shift specialistāand possibly the only HVAC shop cat inspired by a Sith Lord.
š± The Watch Begins
Bane came to us in classic feline fashionāon his terms. A sleek black cat with a white face, underbelly, and paws, plus a one-of-a-kind half-black mustache, he looked like he belonged in a spy film⦠or a galaxy far, far away.
Named after Darth Bane, the Sith Lord known for laying down the Rule of Two, Bane rules the night at Cool Air M.D. with a much softer paw (unless you're a bug, of course).
š§ What He Actually Does (We Think)
Paw-trols the fleet: Regular inspections of work trucks (mostly the hoods)
Dusts for paw prints: Leaves behind solid evidence that he clocked in
Keeps Templeton humble: Our rat mascot might run the duct inspections, but Bane⦠Bane owns the shadows
Deters rodents and rogue lizards: While still somehow being besties with a literal rat. Thatās diplomacy.
šø Recent Evidence
Just last week, Darin walked out to find a layer of dusty paw prints all overĀ the truck. A full inspection, clearly. Possibly evaluating the paint job. Possibly claiming it as his own.
Weāve filed the prints under: Bane was here.
š Why It Matters
We talk a lot about honesty, care, and the people (and now animals) that make Cool Air M.D. different. Bane isnāt a marketing gimmickāheās part of the shop, part of the story, and a quiet reminder that even the night shift matters.
So if you see a few paw prints when we roll up to your home, just know... Bane

signed off on your service truck personally.
